Class Cancellations

Classes may be canceled at any time by the instructor due to weather, safety concerns, or a class that does not have the minimum number of students to conduct the class. The instructor will reach out to all students who have signed up for the class being canceled to let them know that class will not be held. Cancellations are generally announced more than 24 hours in advance, but weather related cancellations may be as late as the morning of the class in question. Students who have prepaid their fees for the class can opt to be refunded in full or have their registration moved to another class (of equal value without additional payment).

In the event of a class that has to be ended before completion for any reason (including unexpected weather or other safety concerns), the instructor will make arrangements for a future partial class or permit students to transfer their registration to a different class of the same course.
